THE GALAXY

    

A galaxy is a vast collection of stars, gas, and dark matter, bound together by gravity. The word "galaxy" comes from a Greek word "galaxias" meaning "milky"referring to our own Milky way.

Galaxies are in the range in size from a few thousand stars to trillions, spanning millions of light-years.They comes in various shapes including spirals, elliptical, and irregular.Most galaxies are between 10 and 13.6 billion year ago. Many Galaxies have a supermassive black hole at center. The earth is in the second largest galaxy of local group. The biggest galaxy is IC 1101.The galaxy we live in is the cosmos galaxy 

     

                                      

                                    

Galaxy has been home for more than 200 billion stars and galaxy contains of stars,planets and other astronomical features.The best predicts there are at least 100 billion galaxies in thr observable universe.There is 3 types of galaxy they are:spiral galaxy,Both Elliptical and Sprial galaxies and the Irregular galaxies. Our galaxy is also called as Milky way galaxy and it is a very beautiful galaxy.
